JON CRAIG is a mastering engineer, producer and mix engineer working out of award-winning Courthouse Studio in Stockport, Greater Manchester. With credits for household names like Sarah Story, Roger Taylor (Queen), Snoop Dogg, Peter Hook and 808 State, Jon has seen tracks he’s worked on reach number 1 countless times across various different charts and genres. A fan of championing emerging talent as well, Jon’s recent credits span across a variety of genres and feature a series of up & coming artists including Bilk, Shambolics & Patrick Saint James.

Jon’s career in music began back in 2005 when he was an International House DJ working across the UK, Ibiza & Miami, getting booked to play at clubs and festivals such as Sankeys, Pacha, Eden & Creamfields to name a few, until eventually turning his hand to production, making music for himself, which was quickly picked up by large dance labels including Blackhole Recordings, Juicy Music, Hotfingers & Pornostar Records. With a keen interest in the production side of music, Jon headed to SSR in Manchester, where he got a Distinction in Audio Engineering, Mixing & Mastering. After this he went on to work in commercial recording studios working across all genre’s including, Indie, Pop, Reggae, Rap, Dance & Soul.

2016 saw Jon setup Courthouse Studio, which went on to win National Recording Studio Of The Year 2020 & Regional Mixing Studio Of The Year 2019 and marked Jon as a key figure in the electronic music scene. He also worked on groundbreaking dance classical events such as Hacienda Classical, Cream Classical, Gatecrasher Classical & Colours Classical and helped shape the sound of these new shows with his music production. A groundbreaking moment in his career was at Cream Classical 2019 in Sefton Park where Jon worked as the Music Producer at the then second largest classical music event in the UK for over 32,000 fans.

Fast forward to 2023, Jon has worked with some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene (and a few outside of it) including, Todd Terry, Sarah Story, Roger Taylor, Snoop Dogg, Peter Hook, 808 State, Faithless, Luciano (Reggae), Christina Novelli, Bilk, Shambolics, Tays, Graeme Park, Josh Butler, Marshall Jefferson, K-Klass, Metta & Glyde, Alan Watts & Tall Paul to name a few.
