In 2019, Scruff of the Neck had their first opportunity to host a showcase at SXSW. This was presented in association with Distiller Records and spotlighted artists The Ninth Wave, Glass Caves, Larkins, Cassia, Anteros and Ramona Flowers. What a brilliant way to celebrate 10 years of Scruff of the Neck!

As well as 2019, another opportunity was presented In 2023 to take three artists for a full capacity showcase at Velveeta Rooms, SXSW! Bilk, IST IST and The Hara from the label roster were joined by Lime Garden, Girli and AVALANCHE PARTY for a killer showcase of the UK’s best new talent in front of a full room from start to finish.
