PENTIRE

“A FANTASTIC YOUNG BAND WITH A LOT OF POTENTIAL” - STEVE LAMACQ, BBC 6MUSIC

Pentire are an indie band who make pop songs for the post-jangle generation through the smiles and sweat of the mosh pit. This Herefordshire four-piece tell cheap lager-soaked stories of student life, a small-town upbringing, and the innocence of youth.

Brought up on a diet of The Killers, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics, frontman and principal songwriter Jack Morgan met his bandmates in the sleepy town of Ross-on-Wye. They lived their school lives as unpopular kids with a distaste for maths, who have grown from making a racket in their mum’s shed to selling out venues across the South West.

With previous support from tastemakers such as Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq (BBC 6Music), John Kennedy (RadioX) and Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist, the band released their debut EP, "Now In A Minute", in the Spring followed by another successful UK Tour. Having previously played at Isle of Wight Festival, Dot to Dot and touring with the likes of The Royston Club, Junodream and milk., the band are known for their bouncy, enticing and party-like live shows.
