About Scruff of the Neck

WE LIVE TO DEVELOP ARTISTS

Scruff of the Neck is an established Manchester (UK) record label, music publisher, concert & festival promoter, and creative services company that is passionate about working with the best artists. In 2019, our Records division won ‘Best Small Label’ at the AIM Awards, which led to us signing a global masters distribution deal with Believe. We followed up with the signing of an ambitious music publishing joint-venture with Sentric in 2024. Scruff of the Neck now have a fast-evolving in-house set-up based at our head office in Manchester, signing and distributing the most exciting new acts across the UK and promoting a multitude more on Live. Our pioneering content partnership with Twitch enabled Scruff of the Neck to broadcast a ‘TV’ music showcase series every week achieving over 15 million unique viewers and an innovative ‘hybrid’  stream at Y Not? Festival 2022 which amassed 1.1 million viewers alone.

The diverse range of activity in the Scruff of the Neck ecosystem stemmed from the simple concept that to have artists that can sell tickets, you need to support their artistic vision, business development and fanbase growth. With this in mind, Scruff of the Neck always work to create innovative platforms and services for artists to provide real value in their journey.
